Is the Community Edition free?
The Community Edition is free for personal and commercial use. Please show us your support by starring the project on Github.
What are the limitations / restrictions of the Community Edition?
As of now, there are no limitations / restrictions with the Community Edition. We are working on an Enterprise Edition that will have more features.
Data Privacy
Does Acharya collect any telemetry data?
There is no telemetry or tracking and no data or results are sent to us.
What all system settings does Acharya modify?
Acharya is a self-contained binary and does not change any system settings or registry settings. It stores all its data in a local
data folder.Why my system is giving me a firewall warning?
Acharya serves its UI and API on TCP/IP port configured

How do I backup my Acharya data?
Acharya runs off the
data folder which it creates when run for the first time. All the data is stored in this folder. Backing up this folder would be sufficient. To restore the backup:- Stop Acharya running instance
- Restore the
datafolder - Run Acharya again.
How do I uninstall Acharya?
To uninstall Acharya, stop all the running instances of Acharya and delete the binary. To remove all the data which Acharya created, delete the
data folder. Based on the cache settings, Acharya also stores some cache in the System users cache under acharya directory. These can be cleaned-up anytime with the tools (for eg: Disk Cleanup) provided by the system. These can be also manually deleted.Which platforms are supported?
Acharya actively supports Windows, Mac and Linux systems.
